After reading the novel brilliantly and without problems - and believe that the film: Shipping News, The adaptations of novels rarely succeed - I did not expect this film. Much to my surprise, I found the DivX film Shipping News, The entirely successful. Kevin Spacey - which seemed a strange choice for the role - as Coyle is perfect, capturing the true spirit of the character and prove himself as one of the best actor of his generation. Judi Dench, as always, just right. Julianne Moore (who was not familiar with your work) is amazing. The look of the film, the tone ... ... the script all the work - as an adaptation of the novel as a movie: Shipping News, The in itself. I do not understand why this DivX film Shipping News, The does not get more recognition. I strongly recommend those who have read the novel and those who have yet to experience remarkable prose of Annie Proulx.
